The COST CONTROL 3000 shows you the costs for energy consumed by any appliance plugged in to it using current energy prices programmed in to the meter by the user. Simply plug in the meter to the mains and then plug the device you wish to test in to the meter and read off the displayed operating costs for the electrical appliance.

I got one of these the last time you were doing this promotion. This must be the best money saving freebie I've ever had. I reckon I am saving over £150 a year after using it and seeing how much all my appliances were costing me. One of the first things I got rid of was my tumble dryer, that was costing me over £90 a year itself. I can't believe how much my kettle is costing me a year, it's well over £100, we make a lot of tea.
At first I thought this was one of those monitors that some of the energy suppliers give you, but now I realise it's not because I recently got one of those as well. They don't measure your individual appliances like the plug in monitor does.
