Stop messing around with your suppliers expensive standard energy tariff.
It doesn’t seem to matter how much we scream it out over the rooftops. Too many consumers are still not taking advantage of the competitive energy markets.
In the 1990’s, the Government privatised the energy suppliers. This was done in order to create a competitive market. It’s working a treat by the way.
It was simple in the early days. One of your regular energy suppliers approached you to offer a dual fuel discount. Great, you got a bit off your energy prices.
Things have changed a bit since then. The best discounts are now available through internet price comparison sites.
Now there are many new suppliers which you have probably never heard. They are taking on the big boys with their discounted online energy deals.
A point to note: Don’t switch to a supplier you have never heard of before checking out reviews for them.
If you want discounted energy prices, you have to go get them yourself. Your supplier isn’t going to offer you a cheaper deal. They want to make as much profit as possible.
