This cashback deal with Scottish Power makes their online energy saver 17 tariff one of the cheapest available deals for your gas and electricity.
Although this tariff doesn’t show up as the cheapest on comparison sites, when you work out the extra saving with £80 cashback, it pushes this deal to the top of the cheapest deals.
For a limited time ScottishPower is offering a cashback of £40 per fuel to all new customers (£80 for dual fuel customers).
The cashback is offered at ScottishPower’s sole discretion and can be withdrawn without notice
The cashback is administered and paid when the cashback funds are received from Scottish Power. It will be paid by cheque by Xelector Limited who administers the cashback scheme for us.
The cashback will normally be paid 60-90 days after your supply goes live with ScottishPower (or 60-90 days after your second supply goes live if you are a dual fuel customer) but in rare cases this can take longer.
If you have any queries regarding your cashback payment please make a note of this number to call: 0845 0900 198 (this will also be confirmed in an email)
With this online product you must manage your account online. You will benefit from receiving and viewing your bills, providing meter readings and carrying out general correspondence all online.
The Offer prices will remain 8.6% below Debit gas and electricity prices until 31st March 2013.
Prices may vary, but the differential against standard monthly Direct Debit kWh prices will remain at 8.6%. Your Direct Debit amount may vary depending on your gas and electricity usage.
If you cancel your Online Energy Saver 17 Offer contract by switching to another gas and/or electricity supplier before 31st March 2013, Scottish power will apply a cancellation charge. The current cancellation charges
are £30.64 for electricity and £20.42 for gas, each inclusive of VAT at the current rate of 20%.
These charges will be amended, if there is a change in the VAT rate at any time or times before 31st March 2013, by an amount equivalent to the applicable change in the VAT rate.
These charges will not be applied if the agreement is cancelled due to a home move.
Scottish Power will write to you before the end of the Offer to let you know what will happen next. This will involve automatically moving to their standard monthly Direct Debit prices or you may want to choose another of their product offers. Alternatively, you will have the option to cancel your contract with Scottish Power without being required to pay any cancellation charge.
