Working out the cost of your gas and electricity couldn’t be easier. If you know how much energy you use in KWH per year, just enter the figures into this calculator.
The calculator is pre-loaded with the average price per KWH and, the average energy consumption figures..
You can play about with it to get the figures you are looking for.
A 100 watt bulb would take 10 hours to consume 1KWH of electricity. For 10 hours usage, it would cost you around 13 Pence on Standard energy prices.
If you are on a discounted online tariff, then it’s considerably less!
In addition to the KWH prices, you will also have a standing charge for each fuel of around £90 per year.
The following rates have been updated. To get the actual prices for your region, you should do an online price comparison.
