There are no great savings to be made initially with this long fixed term tariff from First Utility, but you do have the security of knowing your prices will not increase for 3 years.
The short answer is – Yes -. First:Utility were one of the early entrants into the deregulated energy market. They have long got over that difficult learning curve.
If it’s less than, or not much more than you are paying now, then yes, it is definitely worth having. It doesn’t offer the same savings as newer suppliers are offering, but it certainly is a safer option.
You don’t generally get reviews for tariffs because they constantly change. Tariffs are normally quite new when you see them on comparison sites.

You may be surprised to learn that, the comparison sites that you are more familiar with, are not actually accredited by OFGEM. This is the Government Office for Gas and Electricity Markets. Many of the comparison sites don’t meet the criteria as set out for the OFGEM accreditation!
If you are going to switch to a cheaper online energy deal, then use one of the Ofgem Accredited sites. They are governed by a strict set of rules which put the consumers needs first!
